Banger alert. This is a wild ride with lots of drama. The story moves fast and I was never bored I was just looking to see what Kings crazy ass would do next. The erotic scenes...mmnngh are really well done, can't say that one enough ha ha. I'm looking forward to seeing what Chanel comes up with next, I'm hoping there's more to the story that we get to see in number two because I want more King in ma lyfe.Product details

The story line was ok. I felt a little lost at times. Unfortunately things didn't pick for me until I was 58% into the book. The story dragged on to long in the beginning. I would have liked to see Kaylani and Kings relationship evolve a little bit more. To me they just had great sex!!!! Kaylani proved her love to King by doing something she probably never thought she would ever have the heart to do in her lifetime. Even after that he still referred to her as "shawty" That really bothered me. This Young lady did the ultimate deed, got you thinking about having a normal life , kids, the whole 9 yards, and still just "Shawty" I hope they're love grows into something more emotionally stimulating and not just physical. They will need that emotional connection to get through all the BS they're about to go through. The situation with Peaches was predictable. However I'm interested in Sly's Sister Yali ! . So Overall the story wasn't bad. I would still recommend it!!
Love this book! Although I have to admit that I was surprised that King asked Kaylani to hustle and kill for him just to show she bout that life. I really want to know the back story about Yali and King and how King got control of Sly's trap house. Waiting for part 2
I read this book in one day... what I loved was how easily Chanel Q sucked me into the storyline. Kaylani wasn't your run of the mill character. She was sexy and intelligent. King is someone who knows what he wants and isn't scared to claim what's his, on the streets or in the bedroom. I literally fought sleep to get to the end of the book, and I couldn't believe the interweaving of characters as I explored the story. I'm excited for part two... and I hope to see more of Daliah and triflin' Trini.
I have to say it's a true page turner. The story is has a steady flow. It keeps on edge wondering what is going to happen next. The story engaging from beginning to the end of the book. It's well develop story and characters. I was so involved in the story. I found myself thinking I want an Xavier. You don't many stories that are engaging as well as entertaining at the same time. I'm looking forward to the next book. I hope to see great things from this author. i may have to read this book a second. I often read the good one more then once. Check this book out you will not be disappointed.
I enjoyed this story it had absolutely everything in it that I love when reading a good book (suspense, romance and drama).
I love the relationship between Kaylani and King, it will be interesting to see the development of their relation in the next book. (hopefully this will release soon lol) Based on this first book I can tell it will be drama between the couple and Yali.
The author (Chanel Q) did an excellent job on this book and I enjoyed it from start to finish. My fav. quote in this book is "You have the makings of a queen for my king and that's the kind of woman I need. Loyalty is repaid with loyalty."
I would recommend this book to anyone. Great Read
Huniii you did the damn thing... It was a great ride ... I hope king can stay afloat of all the bulls*** about to come his way and hopefully he can hold into Kaylani in the process!
I want kaylani to also become a bad ass in her own right too and boss up not just for king but for herself!
Great book girl... I was not disappointed and u hve gained a fan; i await book 2! Give us a happy ending where hood love prevails without one of the two dying lol!
